The new generation of configurable tables with a complete collection of dining, high, and low tables, designed by Resol Studio. It supports up to 400 combinations and is inspired by the African tree of the same name.

 

 

Resol Studio got its inspiration from this tree to create a new generation of configurable tables, with more than 400 possible combinations by mixing and matching Resol's different measurements and colours. Its organic design is reminiscent of the shape of this tree which can live more than 1000 years. Baobab furniture is also hard-wearing and adaptable to any space and stands out for its easy installation.

Resol Studio wanted to create a family of tables that was closely linked to a source of life. The Baobab tree is a clear example of that as it is characterised for its ability to store up to 120,000 litres of water inside its trunk. The structures of Resol's new tables, made from polyethylene, symbolise these trunks and culminate with the rounded tabletop, representing the treetop. The structures are manufactured using the rotomoulding technique, so their durability is guaranteed for indoors and outdoors.

 

 

A transversal collection

The Baobab Collection presents a complete range of tables, including dining tables, bar tables and coffee tables, and a new type of product: the stool. This innovative line includes a new base and HPL colour: Sand, with bases in Resol colours that adapt perfectly to other furniture items. The collection is transversal and designed to integrate with the whole range of chairs, stools and low armchairs, being highly configurable and adaptable to any need with up to 300 variations available. The bases are available in 3 heights (S, M and L) and are made from medium density polyethylene (MDPE), using rotomoulding technology. The tabletops are made from 10mm HPL with bevelled corners, and the cushions are upholstered in Sunbrella mass-dyed acrylic fabric. The counterweights come in two sizes (M/L and S), and with an easily-assembled, adaptable base, with the option of filling it with sand for greater stability.

Resol Studio flexibility and quality

This collection is suitable for use indoors and outdoors, making it a very versatile solution for different atmospheres, such as hotels (terraces and gardens, cafés, restaurants, reception/hall), restaurants and bars (terraces, dining rooms), home (terraces and gardens, living-dining room, kitchens) and offices (meeting rooms, waiting rooms, lounge area, "creative" areas). Resol's whole range of chairs, armchairs and stools is compatible and combines well with the Baobab Collection, available in the same colours and combinations of upholstered seat cushion as the Woody line. The Baobab Collection is not only an attractive, hard-wearing solution, it also offers the flexibility and quality one would expect from Resol Studio products.
