Javier Cuñado
Javier Cuñado was born in Bilbao. There he studied Industrial Engineering and later completed his studies in Product Design at the Ravensbourne College of Design in London. In 1998 he created the Item Design studio, which is now one of the leading companies in the field of design in Spain. During the nearly 30 years of working in the market, the studio has developed projects in virtually all fields of design. The team led by Javier Cuñado created household appliances, office equipment, electronic devices, sports equipment and many other consumer products.
Javier Cuñado's works have received numerous awards in recognized international design competitions, including: Eurobike 2011, Delta Awards 2013, Aixe GETXO Award! To design 2015, i- NOVO Awards 2015 and German Design Awards 2016.
